Creative Writing (9-12)

$400 per semester/ $430 for honors level course * (two-semester course)
*There is an annual student fee for all students taking classes at Pacific Coast Learning Center. Some charter schools allow for this fee to be added to the cost of classes rather than being paid out-of-pocket by parents. If your charters agrees, you may add the cost of the student fee to your first PO.

Students who desire to explore writing as artistic expression, examine various creative genres of literature, and learn how to shape their own ideas with words will love this workshop-style elective course. In addition to collaborative and individual projects, peer and self-editing, students will learn to appreciate a wide variety of creative works. To allow for a more comprehensive understanding of writing as an art form, students are coached and encouraged by two instructors with widely ranging writing and teaching styles.
