CAREER PLANNING AND LIFE SKILLS

Cost: $385 per semester*
*There is an annual student fee for all students taking classes at Pacific Coast Learning Center. Some charter schools allow for this fee to be added to the cost of classes rather than being paid out-of-pocket by parents. If your charters agrees, you may add the cost of the student fee to your first PO.
Students will learn how to research their skills and interests as they relate to career planning, job training, and their future plans after graduation from high school. This course also teaches students how to build positive relationships with others, become the type of employees that employers want; including resume writing, job search, and interviewing skills. In addition, students will learn how to make choices for healthy living, basic budgeting and money skills, and how to become responsible citizens in their community. Students can expect to do 2-3 hours per week of homework for this class.
