Literature, Writing, and Grammar for Elementary School (Grades 3-5)

ONLINE: Wednesdays - 1:15 - 2:15
$360 per semester (2 semester course)*
*There is an annual student fee for all students taking classes at Pacific Coast Learning Center. Some charter schools allow for this fee to be added to the cost of classes rather than being paid out-of-pocket by parents. If your charters agrees, you may add $40 per semester to your purchase order to cover student fees. You may select this option when you register for the class.
Good literature takes us to different times and places, introduces us to fantastic characters, and teaches us to imagine and tell good stories. This class is intended to encourage elementary students to LOVE literature and writing! Students are exposed to different genres and learn literary themes and styles, while learning the building blocks of writing correctly and creatively.
The following genres will be covered over the course of the school year: fiction, mystery, fables, historical fiction, fantasy, and poetry.
