Unit 3 – Tall Tales and Fables – Various Selections

  • Complete sentence writing

 
Unit 5 – Historical-Fiction –  By the Great Horn Spoon by Sid Fleishman

  • Research essay

  • Multi-media oral presentation

 
Unit 6 – Fantasy – Indian in the Cupboard by Lynne Reid Banks

  • Creative art project

 
Unit 7 – Poetry – Various Selections

  • Poetry writing

  • Includes a poetry reciting extravaganza

 
Unit 8 –Novel/Movie – Charlie and the Chocolate Factory by Roald Dahl

  • Business letter writing

  • Sweet contest!
