Writer's Workshop
6th - 12th grade
Strong writing skills are essential for school and far beyond. This interactive workshop helps students gain proficiency in writing strong essays. This ONLINE writing intensive provides students with concentrated writing instruction specific to assignments given in Writtenburg Door courses. The instructor provides three 60-minute courses tailored to help students achieve essay writing mastery. The workshop concludes with students receiving a one-on-one tutoring session with the instructor to ensure a polished and proofread essay is ready for submission.
This workshop is typically offered once per semester at the middle school and high levels.

PCLC Requirements

Writer's Workshop
Workshops are timed to according to our English class assignments so that students needing extra help with assigned essays can get extra small-group instruction for three weeks, and then a one-on-one private meeting with the instructor to go over their final essay prior to turning it in for grading. Students leave this workshop equipped with a strong essay-writing foundation that serves them for years to come.
